The museums main room originally housed the boilers used to heat the ajoining Alert hangers when the 109th was a fighter interceptor squad. Now this large space contains the main indoor display cases, the museum gift store,the model of the old speedway field and the museum directors office. Stairs lead up to the old alert room which now is used as a meeting and work area as well as the museum library.
